is this bamboo toothbrush safe for enamel health?

Yes. Our premium soft bristles provide a gentle yet effective cleaning experience. They’re designed to whisk away plaque, leaving your teeth feeling truly clean, and they also help prevent enamel erosion and gum irritation.

For those with a delicate mouth, try pairing your soft bristle bamboo toothbrush with Davids Hydroxi™ sensitive+whitening nano hydroxyapatite premium toothpaste for even better oral health.

why is a soft bamboo toothbrush better than a hard one?

Hard bristles can wear down your enamel, the protective outer layer of your teeth, and irritate your gums. Thin enamel exposes the underlying dentin, where tiny tubules lead to your tooth’s nerves. This is what causes sensitivity, i.e., that sharp, uncomfortable twinge when you eat acidic, cold, or very hot foods.

A soft-bristle toothbrush effectively cleans without putting your enamel and gums at risk and is usually what dentists recommend for protecting enamel.

how long does a bamboo toothbrush last?

Like any toothbrush, dentists recommend replacing your bamboo handle toothbrush every three to four months, or sooner if the bristles show wear.

how does the bamboo handle compare to plastic?

The 100% natural bamboo handle is not only biodegradable but also durable and comfortable to hold. Plus, its lightweight, slim design helps you reach all areas of your mouth easily.

You get the same high-quality clean without exposing your mouth to unnecessary chemicals often found in plastics.

what makes castor oil bristles different?

Unlike petroleum-based nylon, Davids bamboo toothbrush uses BPA-free bristles made from castor oil, a renewable plant source. These bristles provide a smooth and comfortable clean while still being as durable as plastic bristles.

While they are not biodegradable, they are plant-based and a better choice than petroleum-based nylon. Simply remove the bristles before composting the bamboo handle.
